Hey #beautybestie! I just returned from a whirlwind work trip to Chicago, and although I was only there 24 hours, it felt like two weeks! But it was crazy fun! If you know anything about me, you know that packing light is NOT something I do well. I like options upon options (Michigan weather trained me well- you never know what may come up!). But bestie, I managed to master just bringing my essentials, including cute and comfy pieces I snagged for less than $30!
The main event called for my “best black” As a hairstylist, I thought this task would be a lot easier. Thanks to a late night trip to Meijer while picking up items for my toddler (#momlife), I came across a 50% rack and snagged this super cute dress For $16! Paired with black sheer tights and #charlotterusse ankle boots from my closet, I was good to go.

While still reeling from the diamond in the rough I found, I came across this white and navy plaid shirt for $7! I knew it’d be perfect for Michigan Ave downtime. I rocked it to dinner with a pair of high waist skinny jeans, and my favorite Calvin Klein loafers.
