Don't Make Me Blush

Happy First Day of Fall, #beautybestie! Sorry if the pictures look kind of weird. Usually my iPhone does the trick when taking good pictures, but we won't let this outfit go to waste! This past weekend was an absolute BLAST at the Circle City Classic in Indianapolis. I enjoyed good music, good food and even better company. Despite a hot summer day, in natural Michigan fashion, the night got chilly, but this "Don't Make Me Blush" look kept me warm and cute.

For the fall, layers are the name of my game. It'sd such a quick and easy way to remix any fashion item and make it new. With subtle pastel colors like blush and tan, I add the drama with texture- layers help me achieve that with ease. For a daytime look, I would skip the belt and let everything be relaxed and undone. But when it's your first "Momma's Night Out" in months, there's nothing wrong with dressing things up while cinching the waist.

Most of items from this outfit are older pieces, but don't worry #beautybestie, I got some similar items for you to check out! The original blush duster trench jacket is from Forever 21, the jeans are from Fashion Nova (where are my #novababes at?!), black pumps from Charlotte Russe, and my waist belt + purse are from Express.

That's all for now loves! I'll be back with more fashion and beauty goodies.

Til Next Time,

Jenn Rodriguez
